ILEMBO is a Lecturer with specialization in Statistics and Agricultural Economics. He is trained in statistics at both Bachelor and Master’s degree levels and he did a Ph.D. in the Agricultural Economics specialized in contract farming and agricultural value chain. Dr. ILEMBO has published mostly in agricultural economics.

Justine .N. Mbukwa

Lecturer

Dr Justine N. Mbukwa is a Lecturer in Statistics, Department of Mathematics and Statistics Studies, Mzumbe University, Tanzania. He coordinates both BSc-Applied Statistics and MSc-Applied Statistics Programmes. He holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Statistics, from the Acharya Nagarjuna University, Andhra Pradesh, Guntur-India since October, 2018. He research interest focuses on applied statistical modeling for high-dimensional and complex data where the emphasis is mainly in the direction of dimensionality reduction of the covariates; Predictive modeling using historical data to model the future behavior patterns in the wide range of societal problems (social and natural sciences).

He is conversant in using statistical machine learning techniques (data mining) to predict the patterns and extraction of the useful features in order to increase the predictive ability of the statistical models

Ibrahim Malima
Assistant Lecturer

Ibrahim is an assistant lecturer in the Department of mathematics and statistics studies, Mzumbe University. He holds Master of Science in Mathematical Modelling from University of Dar es salaam (2011-2013) and Bachelor of Science in Mathematics with honor from the University of Dodoma (2008-2011). During his master study he achieved to write a dissertation entitled combined effect of buoyancy force and viscosity variation on arterial blood flow. Currently he is studying PhD in mathematics in the Department Mathematics from University of Dar es salaam.
